2.1     We may collect and hold information about you, including but not limited to, your name, address, phone number, email address, Records you have searched and images you have viewed, transaction information (the number, amount and time of payments you have made to us), credit/debit card details and billing address details or any other information from which your identity is apparent or reasonably ascertainable ("Personal Information"). If you don't provide us with certain Personal Information, we may be unable to provide you the information, products or services you wish to buy or receive.

2.2     We may collect Personal Information from you when you complete registration forms and order forms on the Website or directly from us or otherwise generally in the course of dealing with you, whether by email, telephone or any other means.

2.3.    We also collect Personal Information from cookies. Cookies are small information files sent out automatically by the Website and then stored on your PC that can contain certain information that the Website uses to track the pages you have visited. The only Personal Information a cookie can contain is information you personally supply. A cookie cannot read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other websites.

By not selling or renting your Personal Information to third parties (other than as set out in Clause 5.4) we strive to ensure as far as is reasonably practicable that you do not receive spam mail as a result of registering with this Website or using the Services, however we cannot guarantee this.

5.3     Subject to this Clause 5, we will only disclose your Personal Information to our employees, related entities and companies working on our behalf on a contractual basis

You can request access to Personal Information about you that you have provided us by emailing us at support@findmypast.com.au. We may charge a nominal fee of approximately AUD 20 to cover administration costs. We may withhold or refuse you access to your Personal Information if we are legally authorised to do so or where its disclosure to you is restricted by law, is the subject of legal action or may compromise the privacy of another person.

8.1    We reserve the right to modify or change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the amended version on the Website with or without notice to you. You confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any change to this Privacy Policy from time to time.
