My paternal Grandfather was GEORGE STOTT. He migrated to Melbourne from Scotland in late 1800s with one sister and a number of brothers. He signed up with Australian Forces in WWI. Reg. No 31648.
He went to France and was invalided to England.
He met his future wife (and my father's mother) while recuperating in Bath.
He returned to Australia in 1920.
He was the father of one son, George Edward and three daughters Evelyn Elizabeth and Jean.
Attached is nominal roll showing his details.
He died in 1972.
