Digitised from the original records held at the Genealogical Society of Queensland Brisbane, this database includes indexes from records of memorial inscriptions from many Queensland cemeteries and lone graves (people who were buried on private property because they were too far from a cemetery). Plus, there are indexes to records from Queensland funeral directors - Metropolitan, Lorisch, Alex Gow, S R Le Grand, K M Smith, Cannon & Cripps, Tucker and Nankivel. The total time frame covered is 1820-1996 (however, not all years are covered for all funeral directors or cemeteries).
