Discover More about the Edinburgh Pals
The Edinburgh Pals were officially the 15th and 16th (Service Battalions) of The Royal Scots Regiment. The Pals Battalions were the brainchild of Lord Derby, allowing young men to serve with their friends, neighbours, work colleagues or even team mates.
These records list approximately 2,500 men who made up the original members. For the first time this list will tell you which battalion your relative served in (information not given on medal records)
