Each result will provide you with various facts found in archival records held at the Surrey History Centre but it is important to view the original images, which usually will give significantly more detailed information on each soldier. Typically, you will find out:
- Name
- Rank
- Service number
- Battalion and regiment
- Dates of enlistment and transfer or discharge
- Archive reference
Some of the original records also give birth place, place of attestation, occupation prior to enlistment, name of spouse and so on.

This collection contains seven sets of records held at the Surrey History Centre. These relate to the 21st to 24th Battalions of the Regiment, which were based in parts of the historical county of Surrey which are now within Greater London. The registers are as follows:
- Enlistment register for the 22nd Bn, London Regiment, 1920-1925
- Enlistment register for the 22nd Bn, London Regiment, 1925-1936
- Register of transfers in for 24th Bn, London Regiment, 1927-1940
- Nominal roll of officers who served with the 21st Bn, London Regiment, 1914-1918
- Nominal roll of officers who served with the 22nd Bn, London Regiment, 1914-1918
- Nominal roll of officers who served with the 23rd Bn, London Regiment, 1914-1918
- Nominal roll of officers who served with the 24th Bn, London Regiment, 1914-1918
