Why does Findmypast offer users the option to share their trees?

Family history is most successful as a shared activity. If members join forces, we can all benefit from each other’s knowledge and research. We encourage everyone to share their trees and their research. It’ll make family history a more gainful experience for everyone – from beginners to expert genealogists.
