These records will usually provide the following information about your ancestor:

  • First name(s)
  • Last name
  • Residence (county)
  • Probate month
  • Probate year

    • Where residence is not England, the country may be given (most commonly Scotland or Ireland) or 'Foreign Parts' - which may be any place outside of the British Isles
