He was also in the First World War: Regiment Number 2650 10th Light Horse Regiment, 18th Reinforcement Private
My dad was also in the Second World War: Kingsley Vivian Moffett Service Number WX17940 (W6202) Sergeant 28th Australian Infantry Battalion Signaller
They were both in Darwin together when they were bombed. Grandfather was working in the Workshops and Dad was waiting to embark to New Britain. Both returned from the Wars with only minor injuries and my dad is still alive and kicking at 88 years old.
