Find your ancestors in Queensland Education Gazette 1943

Containing all nine issues that were issued during 1943 (there was no issue for January, September or December), these Education Gazettes contain the names, teaching level and school of thousands of teachers throughout Queensland during 1943.

Listing Admissions, Admissions Cancelled, Transfers, Transfers Cancelled, Notifications of Vacancies, those that Left the Service, Schools Opened, Schools Closed, as well as Scholarships Granted. There is a long list of those who have had Grade Promotions together with their previous teaching level, as well as the new one.

Unique features in this years worth of issues, is that is lists the name and address of School Inspectors, as well as a list of teachers who enlisted in the AIF during 1943 (name, rank and school). There are literally thousands of names of people mentioned in these Gazettes.
