How do I update my Findmypast account details?

Follow these simple steps to update the account details you used to sign up to Findmypast.

  1. If you’re not already, log into Findmypast using your email address and password
  2. Go to My Account > Personal Details
  3. Here, you can change your account details including your name, email address and password. 
  4. Select the ‘Update details’ button to save your new information.

You're all set - you’ll receive an email confirming your updated details.

Watch out! If you’re changing your email address, make sure your current and new emails are in the correct fields. You'll need to enter the new one under both ‘New email address’ and again under ‘Confirm email address’.
